Ballantine Recruitment is partnering with a well-established food manufacturing business in West Yorkshire that is continuing to invest in its operations and infrastructure.
They are now looking for a Warehouse Manager to take ownership of warehouse operations, lead a small team, and bring structure, organisation and consistency to the function.
This is a role for someone who enjoys being hands-on and making things work better.
The Opportunity
You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the warehouse, with full accountability for stock control, team performance and operational flow.
This is not a “sit behind a desk” role, you’ll be leading from the front and driving improvements where needed.
The Role
* Lead and manage a warehouse team of 6–8 staff
* Oversee goods in, goods out, and stock control
* Maintain high levels of accuracy, organisation, and efficiency
* Improve and implement warehouse systems and processes (Sage preferred)
* Ensure smooth coordination between warehouse and production

About You
* Experience in a Warehouse Manager or Supervisory role
* Strong understanding of warehouse operations and stock control
* Experience working with warehouse systems (Sage advantageous)
* A hands-on, proactive approach
* Comfortable leading teams and driving performance
