A leading manufacturing business in Hull is looking to add experienced Warehouse Operatives to its team. This is a hands‑on role supporting production, stock movement, and material flow across a busy factory environment. Ideal for someone who enjoys an active job, works well under pressure, and has strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Material Handling & Storage
Operate (Reach Truck or Counter Balance ) safely
Move raw materials, finished goods, and components around the site
Load and unload pallets from racking, including work at height
Transport goods from Goods‑In to designated storage areas
Replenish production lines with correct materials to maintain workflow
Stock Control
Accurately handle stock and place items in the correct storage locations
Support FIFO (first in, first out) stock rotation
Assist with stock counts and cycle checks
Goods In / Goods Out
Assist with receiving and dispatching materials
Palletise, wrap and prepare outgoing orders
Check incoming deliveries for damage, shortages and discrepancies
Production Support
Deliver raw materials to machines on time
Remove finished components and transfer them to warehouse storage
Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime
Shift Pattern
Rotating 3‑shift system:
6:00am - 2:15pm (£13.86 per hour)
2:00pm - 10:15pm (£13.86 per hour)
10:00pm - 6:15am (£14.86 per hour)
What We're Looking For
Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience
Experience using MHE (Reach Truck desirable but not essential)
Good understanding of stock control and warehouse processes
Ability to work across rotating shifts
Strong communication and reliability
Positive attitude and willingness to support production teams
