Our client are looking for a temporary Warehouse Operative to work in their busy warehouse based on the outskirts of Wokingham.
You will need to be available immediately and hold a current valid counterbalance forklift licence.
The hourly wage is £15 – £16 per hour.
Key responsibilites for the Warehouse Operative role are:
* Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately and efficiently for dispatch
* Receive and check incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes
* Ensure correct packaging, labelling, and documentation for outgoing shipments
* Store goods safely in designated warehouse locations
* Report any issues relating to deliveries, damages, or shortages
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
* Use warehouse equipment safely and in line with procedures
* Comply with all health & safety regulations and company policies
* Carry out deliveries or collections when required
* Ensure goods areC transported safely with correct documentation
* Operate a counterbalance forklift and other warehouse equipment
* Support general warehouse operations as needed
* Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by management
Skills required for the Warehouse Operative role are:
* Warehouse experience
* Valid, in-date Counterbalance Forklift Licence
* Experience in order picking, packing, and stock control
* Good understanding of warehouse health & safety practices
* Ability to lift and move goods safely
