Teacher of Health and Social Care / Child Development / Social Sciences Required For A Secondary School in Suffolk

Strategy Education are working on behalf of an 11 – 18 academy who require a teacher of child development / health and social care to join them on a part time basis from January 2026. Applications from early career teachers through to experienced teachers are welcome but experience of working with examination essential for application

The Academy is based in Suffolk and there is a real focus on staff wellbeing, collaborative practice and creating a climate where teaching and learning is calm and engaging.

The successful candidate will initially be employed on a temporary basis and will be expected to deliver a positive learning environment for all students and to teach Child development and Health and Social Care with the opportunity to also teach across the Social Sciences for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will have a relevant undergraduate degree and will be subject to a variety of checks including, eligibility to work in the UK an enhanced DBS and full references including one from your most recent teaching placement.
