Prospero Teaching are looking for a dedicated SEND Tutor to provide personalised 1:1 tuition to a learner in Warrington.
This opportunity would suit an experienced tutor or teacher who is confident adapting lessons to individual needs and creating a positive, supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging 1:1 tuition tailored to the learner
Adapt teaching methods and resources to meet individual needs
Build a positive and trusting relationship with the learner
Support academic development and confidence
Encourage positive engagement with education
Monitor progress and provide feedback where appropriate
Requirements
Experience working with children or young people
Previous experience supporting learners with SEND
Patient, adaptable and encouraging approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Teaching qualification or relevant tutoring experience desirable
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
Right to Work in the UK
Two professional child-related references
