An exciting opportunity has become available for a dedicated 1:1 Secondary Tutor to support a learner in Wrexham.
Prospero Teaching are seeking an educator who can provide structured but flexible tuition, helping a learner re-engage with education and make meaningful academic progress.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver personalised 1:1 secondary tuition
Support core academic subjects according to learner needs
Plan engaging and appropriately challenging sessions
Identify and address learning gaps
Adapt teaching approaches and resources
Build a positive relationship with the learner
Encourage confidence, independence and engagement
Requirements
Previous experience teaching or tutoring secondary-aged learners
Strong knowledge across at least one core subject
Experience delivering 1:1 tuition desirable
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Flexible and learner-focused approach
SEND experience would be advantageous
Relevant teaching qualification or tutoring experience desirable
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
Right to Work in the UK
