Sales Executive - Manchester - Up to £40,000 inc Car allowance and bonus
Due to increased global growth, our client are seeking a Sales Executive to be part of our UK Sales team, covering the North West region including Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Lancashire, Cheshire & Cumbria, selling all modes of freight.
Frequent travel across the region is expected; therefore, a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
Drive sales performance to achieve agreed targets
Identify new sales opportunities and build strong business relationships
Profile new businesses to understand freight and customs requirements
Maintain and update the CRM system with client and prospect activity
Grow and develop existing client portfolios
Liaise effectively with customers, suppliers, and international agents
Demonstrate strong product knowledge and technical sales capability
Represent the organisation professionally at all times
Negotiate and influence effectively when required
Skills, Experience & Competencies
Preferred
Minimum 2 years' sales experience within the freight industry
Knowledge of multimodal import/export operations
Strong communication and presentation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Solid understanding of logistics processes and procedures
Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritise workload
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to adapt working hours and work from home when required
