Regional Sales Manager – Food Manufacturing
£50,000 – £55,000 + Commission (OTE £65,000 – £77,000) + Car
Location: M4/M5 Corridor – South & West
An established and highly successful engineering business is looking to appoint a Regional Sales Manager to develop its presence within the UK food manufacturing sector.
This is a newly created position offering the opportunity to build relationships with major food manufacturers, develop existing accounts and generate new business across the region.
The Role

Identify and develop new business within food manufacturing and processing
*
Build relationships with engineering, operations and procurement teams
*
Develop opportunities across multi-site manufacturing groups
*
Manage existing accounts and identify further commercial opportunities
*
Take ownership of your territory, sales pipeline and commercial targets
The Person
We're looking for an experienced salesperson who understands the food manufacturing environment and knows how to develop long-term customer relationships.
Ideally, you'll have:

Experience in technical sales, capital equipment or engineered solutions
*
Existing contacts within food manufacturing or processing
*
A proven track record of developing new business
*
The ability to engage with customers at both site and group level
*
A proactive, commercially driven approach
Experience within refrigeration, temperature-controlled equipment or food processing machinery would be advantageous but isn't essential.
Package
£50,000 – £55,000 basic + commission (OTE £65,000 – £77,000)
Company car or allowance, 25 days' holiday, matched pension and private family healthcare.
