Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and passionate Health & Social Care Teacher to join a secondary school in the Liverpool area in January 2026. As one of the fastest growing agencies in the UK, we are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic educator.

Location: Liverpool, L5

Start Date: January 2026

Contract Type: Temporary, Long Term

Working Hours: Full time, 8:00am - 4.00pm

Salary: Paid to scale

Key Responsibilities:

Plan schemes of work and lesson materials that align with curriculum requirements and professional standards
Assess student progress through assignments, exams, and practical tasks, ensuring feedback is constructive and timely
Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs and abilities
Develop and update curriculum content to reflect current practices in health and social careRequirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Proven experience teaching in a UK secondary school.
Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable, but not essential as training can be provided).
Right to Work in the UK.
Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or willingness to apply for a new one.
