Its customer base includes organisations across the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, contract research, agrochemical, academic, and specialty chemicals sectors. Products are supplied directly within its home market and distributed globally through an established international partner network.

The Role:

* Customer Insight & Segmentation – Analyse and prioritise key audience groups, identifying the behaviours, needs, and motivations that influence decision-making. Ensure these insights are translated into effective, targeted marketing initiatives.

* Business & Growth Strategy – Assess market opportunities and growth drivers to develop customer-focused strategies that deliver measurable commercial results.

* Brand Positioning & Value Proposition – Establish and sustain a clear, differentiated market position. Collaborate cross-functionally to create compelling value propositions that align with customer needs and reinforce brand identity.

* Financial & Performance Management – Oversee budgets and apply strong financial discipline to optimise return on investment and support sustainable profitability.

Key Skills and Experience:

* At least five years’ experience in a B2B marketing leadership role, with a strong track record across demand generation, lead generation, product marketing, and team management.

* Solid understanding of digital marketing channels, tools, and platforms. Familiarity with CRM systems, content management platforms, paid media tools, analytics software, and standard business applications is beneficial.

Desirable (not essential):

* Academic or professional background in a scientific or technical discipline.

* Recognised marketing qualification or professional accreditation.

* Awareness of research and development environments within sectors such as pharmaceuticals, contract research, or manufacturing.

* Experience working in organisations that operate through third-party or distributor-led sales models.
