Are you an enthusiastic Maths Teacher or Tutor looking for flexible 1:1 work?
Prospero Teaching are recruiting for a confident Maths specialist to support a learner in Wigan. The successful candidate will help identify areas for development and deliver engaging tuition designed around the learner's individual needs.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver targeted 1:1 GCSE Maths tuition
Assess existing knowledge and identify gaps
Plan lessons around individual learning objectives
Break down challenging mathematical concepts
Develop learner confidence and independence
Support preparation for assessments where appropriate
Monitor and communicate progress
Requirements
Strong knowledge of GCSE Maths
Previous teaching or tutoring experience
Experience working with secondary-aged learners
Excellent communication and organisation skills
Ability to make complex topics accessible
QTS, PGCE or equivalent experience desirable
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
Right to Work in the UK
