A global technology organisation is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to develop and enhance a range of data-driven applications, cloud platforms and intelligent software tools.

This is a hands-on, full-stack engineering role combining backend development, cloud infrastructure, web technologies and emerging AI capabilities. You’ll help build applications that improve business processes, support decision-making and deliver better user experiences across a range of teams.

Working within a small, collaborative engineering team, you’ll contribute to technical design decisions, develop new features and help evolve existing applications into scalable, reliable production platforms. The role offers exposure to a broad technology stack and the opportunity to work on practical AI integrations alongside established software engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain applications across the full stack, from backend services and APIs to user-facing interfaces.
Build production software using Python, TypeScript and modern web technologies.
Develop cloud-based applications and services using AWS and other cloud platforms.
Integrate applications with data pipelines, enterprise systems and external services.
Build AI-powered features, including LLM integrations, prompt orchestration and tools that connect AI agents with data and services.
Contribute to architectural and technical decisions, evaluating frameworks, tools and implementation approaches.
Develop proof-of-concepts to assess new technologies and demonstrate potential solutions.
Investigate and resolve production issues, optimise application performance and improve software reliability.
Design efficient data processing and integration patterns for applications handling large datasets.
Implement authentication and authorisation mechanisms for secure enterprise applications.
Support infrastructure deployment, Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipeline development.
Collaborate with engineering, product, data and business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver new features.
Help scale successful applications into robust, maintainable platforms suitable for wider adoption.
Essential Requirements

Strong Python development experience, including building production applications.
Practical experience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS/Fargate, S3 and API Gateway.
Experience deploying and managing containerised applications using Docker.
Good SQL skills and experience working with data warehouses.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform.
Proficiency with Git and modern CI/CD workflows.
Experience contributing to the design and implementation of multi-component software systems.
An interest in using AI-assisted development tools and building AI-enabled software features.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team.
Desirable Experience

Modern web development frameworks, particularly Next.js, React and TypeScript.
Google Cloud Platform services, especially BigQuery.
Enterprise authentication and authorisation, including SSO, SAML, OAuth and role-based access control.
Developing and optimising applications that process high volumes of data.
Experience with B2B SaaS platforms, CRM systems or business productivity tools.
Designing and automating ETL and data integration pipelines at scale.
Supporting the evolution of early-stage applications into enterprise-grade platforms.
Agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira.
Full-stack development spanning infrastructure, backend services and frontend interfaces.
Understanding how technical decisions influence business outcomes, usability and user adoption.
Automated document generation or data visualisation libraries.
Building applications with LLMs and AI APIs.
Familiarity with AI orchestration, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or agent and tool frameworks such as the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
The Opportunity

This role is ideal for a Software Engineer who enjoys working across the full development lifecycle and wants to broaden their experience across cloud technologies, data-driven applications and AI-enabled solutions.

You’ll join a collaborative engineering environment where you can contribute ideas, take ownership of development work and help deliver scalable software with tangible business value.
