Location: Central London / London & Home Counties
Salary: £35,000 – £48,000 Basic + Plenty of Overtime
Call-Out: 1 in 6 Week Rota
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join an established company based in Central London. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out service, maintenance and installation work across a range of fire and security systems.
The company operates exclusively across London and the Home Counties, meaning there is no requirement to travel further afield.
The role will involve a varied workload, with approximately 60% fire alarm systems and 40% security systems, including CCTV, access control and intruder alarms.
This is a great opportunity for an engineer looking for a well-paid position, plenty of overtime and a consistent workload within London and the surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
*
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on fire alarm and security systems.
*
Responding to reactive call-outs and diagnosing system faults.
*
Installing, servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems.
*
Working with CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems.
*
Completing fault finding, repairs and system upgrades.
*
Carrying out installation and commissioning work where required.
*
Completing service reports and relevant documentation.
*
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with industry regulations.
Requirements
*
Previous experience working as a Fire & Security Engineer.
*
Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems.
*
Experience with CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems.
*
Experience carrying out servicing, maintenance and installation work.
*
Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
*
Full UK driving licence.
*
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
