Assist Security Group (ASG) is recruiting professional, confident and customer-focused Security Officers (Door Supervisors) to join our team at a prestigious luxury hospitality venue in the City of London.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-profile environment, delivering exceptional security and customer service at premium restaurants and bars while ensuring the safety of guests, staff and visitors.
We are looking for individuals who combine strong security experience with a polished, welcoming approach suited to luxury hospitality.
Role Details
* Location: City of London, Bishopsgate, EC2N
* Pay: £15.50 per hour
* Contract: Permanent, full-time
* Shift Length: Minimum 8-hour shifts
* Shift Pattern: Rotating early and late shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
Important – Shift Requirements
This position requires flexibility to work both early and late shifts:
* Early shifts: Starting from 6:30am.
* Late shifts: Finishing as late as 3:00am, depending on venue closing times.
* Minimum shift length: 8 hours.
* Weekend and bank holiday availability is required.
Please note: Applicants must be available to work both early starts and late finishes. Officers are required to remain on duty until the venue has closed and all guests have departed, or until they have been formally relieved by the incoming team.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain a professional, welcoming and visible security presence.
* Deliver exceptional customer service in a luxury hospitality environment.
* Manage guest entry, including security screening, bag searches and access control.
* Carry out age verification and enforce venue admission policies.
* Prevent and de-escalate conflict, managing challenging situations professionally.
* Support guest welfare and identify potentially vulnerable individuals.
* Conduct security patrols and monitor entrances, exits and public areas.
* Respond effectively to incidents, emergencies and security concerns.
What We're Looking For
* Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence (essential).
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Smart, professional appearance and a confident, welcoming manner.
* Reliability, integrity and excellent attention to detail.
* Flexibility to work early starts from 6:30am and late finishes up to 3:00am.
* Previous experience in luxury hospitality, restaurants, bars or members' clubs is desirable.
What We Offer
* Competitive pay of £15.50 per hour.
