Description
Prepare accurate financial reports and statements in line with regulatory requirements.
Manage complex reconciliations.
Oversee month-end and year-end financial processes, ensuring deadlines are met.
Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities as required.
Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
Assist in audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to queries.
Continuously improve financial processes and systems for efficiency.
Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
A professional accounting qualification or equivalent experience.
Experience managing complex reconciliations.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations.
Proficiency in using accounting software and Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
Experience in the Not For Profit sector (advantageous but not essential).Job Offer
