Full-Time Chef / Cook – Nursing Home
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Chef/Cook to join team in a friendly, well-established nursing home.
This is a full-time position ideal for someone who is passionate about preparing high-quality, nutritious meals for elderly residents.
Key Responsibilities for Chef

Prepare and cook daily meals in accordance with residents’ dietary needs and preferences.

Plan menus that are balanced, appealing, and compliant with nutritional guidelines.
*
Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment.
*
Assist with ordering stock, managing supplies, and minimising waste.
*
Collaborate with care staff to support residents with specific dietary requirements (e.g. soft diets, allergens).
Requirements
*
Previous experience working as a Chef or Cook, preferably in a care home, nursing home, hospital, or similar environment.
*
Strong understanding of food hygiene, safety standards, and allergens.
*
Ability to work independently and manage a busy kitchen.
*
Compassionate attitude and commitment to resident wellbeing.
*
Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above preferred).
