School Caretaker – Enhanced DBS
Location: Holbrook, Ipswich | Pay: £14.00 – £18.00 per hour | Hours: 37 hours per week | Contract: Temporary (with the potential to go permanent)
Our client, a well-respected Schools Trust in Holbrook, is looking for a reliable and hands-on School Caretaker to join their site team. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure steady, full-time hours in a friendly school environment, with a genuine chance of the role becoming permanent for the right person.

Pay rate of £14.00 - £18.00 per hour, depending on pay type (PAYE or Umbrella) – we'll talk you through what this means for your take-home pay
37 hours per week – consistent, full-time hours

Your Day-to-Day
General cleaning duties around the school site
Moving furniture and setting up rooms for lessons and events
Simple DIY and maintenance tasks, such as changing lightbulbs and hanging shelves
Being a helpful, visible presence for students and staff around the school
What You'll Need
An Enhanced DBS
A driving licence is preferred but not essential
Good communication skills, as this role is both student and staff-facing
A practical, can-do attitude and willingness to get stuck in
