TimePlan Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-regarded school in Bournemouth to recruit a reliable and proactive School Caretaker for a January 2026 start.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced caretaker or site supervisor who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and well-presented school environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.
The Role:
Day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the school site and buildings
Opening and closing the premises as required
Carrying out basic repairs and maintenance tasks
Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times
Managing site security, including alarms and access
Supporting with setting up rooms and facilities for school events
The Ideal Candidate:
Previous caretaking, maintenance, or site management experience (school-based experience desirable)
Practical DIY and maintenance skills
A strong understanding of health and safety requirements
Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently
Good communication and organisational skills
