Academics are seeking a reliable, hardworking School Caretaker to support our partner schools starting January 2026 or as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Opening and securing the school premises
Carrying out basic repairs and maintenance
Managing cleaning teams or undertaking cleaning duties when needed
Ensuring health & safety standards are met
Supporting with school events, deliveries, and site security
Maintaining outdoor spaces and general upkeep of facilities
Requirements:
Must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
Previous caretaking, maintenance, or facilities experience preferred
Good practical skills and the ability to work independently
A positive, proactive attitude and strong sense of responsibility
