Aspire People are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming, rural-feel primary school in Telford for an experienced Year 1 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis for the remainder of the academic year, with the potential for a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

The Role
As the Year 1 Teacher, you will:
Take full classroom responsibility for a Year 1 class
Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
Support pupils transitioning from EYFS into Key Stage 1
Differentiate effectively to meet a range of learning needs
Work closely with support staff and parents
Contribute positively to the wider school community
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has recent experience teaching in Key Stage 1
Has strong experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Demonstrates excellent behaviour management skills
Is nurturing, patient, and committed to raising attainment
Works effectively as part of a team
