We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join a busy and fast-paced operational environment based in the Surrey/Gatwick area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous warehouse or operational leadership experience who enjoys leading teams and driving performance within a dynamic environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the smooth running of warehouse operations during the late shift, ensuring productivity, accuracy, and operational standards are consistently maintained.
Key Responsibilities
* Leading and supporting a warehouse team within a busy operational environment
* Coordinating workloads to ensure operational targets and deadlines are achieved
* Monitoring productivity, accuracy, and workflow throughout the shift
* Supporting staff organisation and daily operational planning
* Ensuring compliance with company procedures and health & safety regulations
* Resolving operational issues efficiently and professionally
* Assisting with training and development of team members
* Maintaining strong communication across departments and management
* Promoting a positive, motivated, and professional working environment
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience within a warehouse, logistics, or operational environment
* Experience in a Team Leader, Supervisor, or senior warehouse position
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to lead and motivate a team within a fast-paced environment
* Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
* Proactive and hands-on approach to work
* Understanding of warehouse health & safety procedures
