💰 Pay: £34,000 - £36,000 per year

Carrington Wood is proudly supporting one of our valued clients in the recruitment of a Warehouse Supervisor (Evenings/Nights). You’ll play a key role in overseeing the evening/night-shift operation, ensuring the accurate picking, loading, and handling of chilled, frozen and ambient goods, while motivating and developing the team around you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

✔ Supervising and supporting all evening and night-shift staff
✔ Organising rotas, arranging holiday/absence cover and ensuring adequate staffing
✔ Training, developing and inducting new starters and agency workers
✔ Accurately picking, collating and checking pallets
✔ Monitoring team performance and driving productivity targets
✔ Checking goods inward (as required)
✔ Operating mechanical handling equipment safely (training/certification advantageous)
✔ Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and site hygiene
✔ Briefing drivers on load anomalies and ensuring correct vehicle loading
✔ Moving lorries onto loading bays
✔ Monitoring Critical Control Points in line with HACCP requirements
✔ Completing stock checks and pre-operational MHE equipment checks

What We’re Looking For:

💡 Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor ( minimum 1 year preferred)
💡 Confident leader with strong communication skills
💡 Ability to motivate and guide an evening/ night-shift team
💡 Strong organisational skills with an eye for accuracy and efficiency
💡 MHE certification preferred (not essential)
💡 Strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures
