Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00–16:30, Friday 08:00–13:30
Working Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

Interaction Recruitment are recruiting for a Warehouse / Service Repair Operative to join a specialist technical business based in Huntingdon.

This is a varied permanent role combining warehouse, shipping, service and repair duties. The successful candidate will support with preparing equipment and materials for dispatch, checking incoming and outgoing goods, completing documentation, and assisting with the repair, testing and calibration of specialist equipment.

This role would suit someone practical, hands-on and technically minded, with experience in a warehouse, service, repair, electrical, mechanical or technical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing tooling, equipment and materials for shipment
Picking, packing and checking orders before dispatch
Completing warehouse, packing and shipping documentation
Inspecting incoming and outgoing goods to ensure quality standards are met
Arranging collections with freight carriers when required
Supporting stock control, goods-in and inventory checks
Testing, troubleshooting, repairing and calibrating equipment
Completing accurate service, repair and quality documentation
Using hand tools, soldering tools and testing equipment where required
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
Being open to travel as part of the role further down the line, typically after 6–12 months in position

What We’re Looking For:

Previous warehouse, service, repair, electrical or technical experience
A practical, hands-on approach to work
Basic understanding of electrical or electro-mechanical equipment
Ability to use hand tools, soldering tools and a multi-meter would be beneficial
Good attention to detail and accuracy with paperwork
Confident using computer systems
Ability to follow work instructions and quality procedures
Comfortable with physical work, including lifting and moving equipment
Reliable, organised and safety-conscious attitude
Willingness to travel in the future once fully trained and established in the role

Experience with calibration, electronics, electrical testing, mechanical repair, technical assembly or service work would be highly advantageous.
