Warehouse Operative Night worker needed in North Bristol
Hours : 7pm to 7am (4 on 4 off)
Forklift licence desirable not essential
Job Summary
Responsible for a range of warehouse duties and be joining a passionate, dedicated team of employees, led by proud and energised leaders who work hard to ensure that everyone is engaged to work together to achieve great results.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Loading and unloading lorries with palletised goods for storage in the warehouse or yard.
· Collecting work from various departments readying for dispatch.
· Dispatching shipments & using our inventory management app.
· Unloading consumables from suppliers and stacking in the yard
· Providing access and or delivering consumables to production areas
· Auditing consumables on daily basis
· Ensuring all work due out dispatched off system, any work not dispatched raise with Shift Manager
· Checking of goods into the warehouse ensuring they meet the quality checks required.
· Booking stock on to the warehouse system and then into the relevant locations accurately.
· Storing pallets away in racking using a reach forklift.
· Using the warehouse system & scanner to locate goods for pick & dispatch, assembling orders with a high level of quality and accuracy.
· Completing any applicable paperwork in line with the warehouse processes.
· Replenishment of empty pick locations
· Returning stock back to locations using the warehouse system
· Pallet management & preparation.
· Adhere to department work processes & company H&S policy within the department.
· Contribute to the continual improvement of Warehouse processes.
· High level of housekeeping ongoing to ensure high standards of warehousing environment are kept to.
· Assisting when required within different areas of the warehouse to include wrapping and labelling of pallets.
· Working with other departments to ensure Client SLA’s are achieved
· Undertake any other reasonable task as required by senior warehouse personnel or shift manager/coordinator, support other areas of the business if instructed by senior management
