🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am–5:00 pm (37.5 paid hours per week)
💷 Salary: £12.75 per hour

About Us
Direct Channel Support Systems Ltd is a growing UK distributor of cable management, support systems and associated products for the mechanical, electrical and construction sectors.
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our Tipton warehouse team for an immediate start.
📦 Main Responsibilities

Pick and pack customer orders accurately
*
Check products and quantities before dispatch
*
Receive, check and put away incoming stock
*
Load and unload deliveries
*
Operate a forklift safely
*
Assist with stock control
*
Prepare and label orders for dispatch
*
Handle customer collections professionally
*
Measure and cut strut channel
*
Use chop saws and other light machinery following training
*
Keep the warehouse clean, organised and safe
Physical Requirements
This is a hands-on warehouse role involving regular manual handling. We supply steel channel, threaded rod, brackets and other metal products, including heavy and long-length items.
Applicants must be comfortable with regular lifting, carrying, moving and handling of heavy metal products safely. Some products may require two-person handling or mechanical assistance.
