Warehouse Operative/Forklift

Our client, a freight forwarder is looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their office in Dagenham.

Must hold a valid forklift licence.

Requirements:
1. Counterbalance forklift licence essential
2. Manual handling training essential
3. Shipping/freight warehouse experience (groupage/abnormal size cargo)

General duties:

* 1. Forklift operations – internal warehouse / external yard / Mobile yard ramp

* 2. Loading / Unloading of trailers and domestic vehicles

* 3. Manual Handling of light cargo

* 4. Providing holiday/sickness cover as required.

* 5. Order processing / Admin

* 6. Daily housekeeping

* Monday to Friday (08:00 to 18:00 three days + 08:00 to 17:00 two days)

* Saturday Mornings on rotation (08:00 to 10:00)

* One hour for lunch

* Total 45hrs per week
