Alliance Personnel are seeking a dedicated FLT Driver/Warehouse Operative to join one of logistics clients in Birmingham.
This role involves operating forklift trucks to efficiently load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse environment. The successful candidate will play a vital part in maintaining smooth warehouse operations, ensuring safety standards are met, and supporting inventory management.
Responsibilities
* Safely operate forklift trucks to load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and placement of materials
* Assist with inventory management by accurately recording stock movements using warehouse management systems
* Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment to ensure operational safety and efficiency
* Handle materials with care, adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting and manual handling
* Support shipping and receiving activities by preparing goods for dispatch and verifying incoming deliveries
* Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency
* Collaborate with team members to optimize storage solutions and improve workflow processes
Working hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm (some flexibility available)
Temp to Perm 12 weeks
