Are you the right person for the job?
Our client is looking for a reliable, hands-on individual with a strong work ethic who can adapt to different areas of a warehouse/workshop environment. You’ll ideally have a stable employment history and previous warehouse or workshop experience, along with:
Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and management
A positive, team-focused attitude
Willingness to learn and develop through company-provided training
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
Reliable, punctual, and able to work accurately under pressure
Counterbalance or pivot-steer FLT licence preferred, but not essential
What will your role look like?
This role is primarily focused on Goods-In, with flexibility to support other warehouse and dispatch areas as required.
Goods-In / Warehouse Duties
Loading and unloading vehicles
Processing and understanding shipment paperwork
Identifying components and matching them to delivery documentation
Stocking shelves accurately by learning warehouse locations
Picking components for Mechanical Fitters in line with paperwork
Maintaining a structured, tidy, and organised working environment
Liaising with the Operations Manager to resolve any issues
General housekeeping and upkeep of equipment
Carrying out any other reasonable duties as required
Despatch Duties
Basic data entry using courier booking software
Understanding packing documentation to ensure accuracy
Packing goods securely, correctly, and presentably
Health & Safety
Complying with all health and safety legislation and company procedures
Completing health and safety training as required
Exercising a duty of care to yourself, colleagues, customers, and visitors
Wearing and using PPE as provided
Using equipment in line with instructions and safety guidelines
