We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative with a valid forklift qualification to join our client's growing team in Southampton. Our client is a well-established packaging distributor experiencing continued growth and is looking for a hardworking individual to support their expanding warehouse operations.
About this role:
Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
12-week temp to perm role
4:30am start time
Picking and packing duties
Printing, labelling and checking orders against manifests
Organise stock in the warehouse
Operate pallet jacks and forklifts
Assisting the warehouse manager and team with all aspects of warehouse operations
Maintain clean and tidy work environment and follow health and safety regulationsRequirements for this position:
Own vehicle to commute to and from work is essential due to start time and location of the client
Previous warehouse and order picking experience is essential
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfilment
Computer literate
Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity goals
