Location: Fawley
Pay: £13.49 per hour (paid weekly)
Hours: 07:00 – 16:00, Monday to Friday
Contract: Temporary vacancy until year end, with potential for extension and permanent employment
We are currently recruiting a Warehouse Operator to join our team in Fawley. This role reports directly to the Warehouse Team Lead and offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience within a busy, safety-focused warehouse environment, with the possibility of longer-term employment.
Key Responsibilities:
Working safely at all times in compliance with site Health & Safety procedures
Taking responsibility for your own safety and the safety of others
Operating within site Personnel Safety Management Systems (PSMS)
Picking and issuing materials to site
Storing materials in racking and shelving locations
Delivering materials to site using a van or forklift truck
Loading and unloading materials using a forklift truck
Manning the warehouse service counter
Goods receipting and processing deliveries
Data entry into the warehouse management system (SAP) and spreadsheets
Dispatching materials
Participating in an on-call rota for site emergency material requests
Working additional hours when required to support the customer
Responding to ad hoc requests from managementWhat We’re Looking For:
Good numeracy, literacy, communication skills, and attention to detail
IT literate
Forklift truck experience
Ability to prioritise workload and work independently as well as part of a team
Ability to take initiative while knowing when to seek support
