Wotton-under-Edge, Gloucestershire

Hours:
40 hours per week
Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:00
Friday: 08:00 – 15:15
Includes paid lunch break and early finish on Fridays

Key Responsibilities of a Warehouse Operative:

* Picking raw materials and preparing finished goods for despatch

* Loading, unloading and safely storing stock within the warehouse

* Ensuring stock is rotated correctly and stored in a food-safe manner

* Completing stock takes and maintaining accurate stock records

* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the warehouse environment

* Supporting goods in, goods out and general warehouse operations

* Assisting with production duties when required

* Following all food safety, health & safety and quality procedures

Key Skills of a Warehouse Operative:

* Previous warehouse experience, ideally within a food manufacturing environment

* Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately

* Forklift licences (Counterbalance and Bendi) desirable

* Ability to work effectively within a small team

* Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 25kg

* Reliable, hardworking and able to work using own initiative

* Full UK Driving Licence and own transport required due to rural location
