We're recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse team supporting the movement of goods both within the UK and internationally. This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in ensuring products are received, stored and dispatched accurately and on time.
Your duties as a Warehouse Operative will include:
Picking and packing customer orders
Receiving, checking and storing incoming deliveries
Loading and unloading vehicles safely
Carrying out goods in and goods out inspections
Preparing orders for dispatch, including pallet wrapping and labelling
Completing stock movements and updating warehouse systems
Carrying out stock checks and maintaining stock accuracy
Operating warehouse equipment, including a Counterbalance Forklift (where licensed)
Following health and safety procedures at all times
Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and efficient
To be successful for this Warehouse Operative role you will need:
Previous warehouse experience within a manufacturing or distribution environment
Counterbalance Forklift experience (valid licence preferred)
Experience preparing goods for UK and international dispatch is advantageous
Good attention to detail and accuracy
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
The ability to undertake manual handling duties
