Warehouse Operative - Container Unloading

Prime Appointments are currently recruiting for a reliable Warehouse Operative in Colchester. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for someone looking to secure a long-term role within a busy warehouse environment.
This role is primarily focused in the warehouse, with occasional 3.5-tonne van driving required, so a full UK driving licence is essential.
Duties:
Unloading shipping containers safely and efficiently
Sorting and organising stock as it is received
Carrying out stock takes and maintaining accurate records
Using the in-house CRM system to log goods and movements
Occasional local deliveries using a 3.5t van
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
What we're looking for:
Full UK driving licence (required)
Comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling
Able to work independently and use your own initiative
Previous warehouse or container unloading experience preferred
Basic IT confidence for internal systems
Pay & Hours:
£12.71 per hour
Monday to Friday, day shifts (typically 08:30 - 17:00)
Temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate
