Our client, a well-established and growing business based in Dunstable, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations and lead a busy team within a fast-paced environment.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing warehouse efficiency, maintaining high health and safety standards, and supporting the continued development and automation of warehouse processes.
Key Responsibilities for a Warehouse Manager:

Managing and leading a team of 6 permanent warehouse staff and up to 30 temporary workers during peak periods
*
Overseeing daily warehouse operations including goods in, dispatch, and stock control
*
Driving improvements in warehouse processes, including introducing greater automation and efficiencies
*
Ensuring high standards of health & safety are maintained across the warehouse
*
Monitoring productivity and performance across the team
*
Coordinating staffing levels to meet operational demand
*
Working closely with senior management to support operational improvements
Key Skills for a Warehouse Manager:
*
Previous experience in a Warehouse Manager or similar leadership role
*
Experience managing both permanent and temporary warehouse teams
*
Strong understanding of warehouse operations and stock management
*
Health & safety aware with the ability to maintain a safe working environment
*
Experience implementing process improvements or warehouse automation
*
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
