We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join a fast-paced distribution operation working to tight daily deadlines.
This is a hands-on role, leading from the front to ensure workflow efficiency and team performance across a busy warehouse environment.
The Role
Supervise and support the warehouse team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Deliver daily dispatch and production targets
Operate Counterbalance and Reach FLT where required
Manage pick waves and stock replenishment processes
Allocate labour effectively based on workload and priorities
Identify and resolve operational issues proactively
Communicate effectively with senior management
Complete basic HR duties including timesheets, absence management and arranging cover
Train and develop team members to improve overall performance
Carry out basic maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment
Requirements
Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (essential)
Previous warehouse supervisory experience
Strong understanding of pick/pack, dispatch and stock control processes
Ability to manage and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
Hands-on, practical approach with strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and organisational ability
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Desirable
Reach Truck licence
Experience within a production or manufacturing environment
Exposure to CNC or similar machinery
Working Hours
1:00pm – 11:00pm
4 on, 4 off shift pattern
