Job Description
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and organised Warehouse Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of warehouse operations, including handling deliveries and returns, picking and packing orders, managing stock and maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.
This role would suit someone who is physically fit, has a good eye for detail and can work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Working Hours
* Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm.
Key Responsibilities
* Receive, check, book in and locate incoming deliveries.
* Receive, process, book in and locate returned goods.
* Pick, pack and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
* Organise and maintain warehouse stock to ensure items are stored correctly and can be easily located.
* Assist with inventory management, stock checks and maintaining accurate stock records.
* Safely operate warehouse equipment, including pallet trucks.
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation and housekeeping throughout the warehouse.
* Follow all health and safety procedures and ensure safe working practices are maintained.
* Carry out general warehouse duties as required.
Requirements
* Ability to speak and understand English to communicate effectively and follow instructions.
* Physically capable of lifting and handling items weighing up to 30kg.
* Good attention to detail and the ability to work accurately.
* Reliable, punctual and hardworking, with a positive attitude.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Willingness to follow health and safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
* Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential
