Our client, a rapidly growing consumer goods business with a strong online and retail presence, is seeking an experienced *** Warehouse & Logistics Operations Manager *** to take ownership of its warehouse, inventory, fulfilment and international logistics operations.

This is a hands-on management role for someone who is equally comfortable leading a team, improving processes and supporting day-to-day warehouse activity.

The successful candidate will play a key role in improving stock accuracy, strengthening operational processes and supporting continued growth across the UK and Europe.

Warehouse & Logistics Operations Manager - Key Responsibilities

* Manage the day-to-day running of the warehouse

* Lead, support and develop the warehouse team

* Ensure orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time

* Maintain accurate stock records within the company's ERP system

* Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies

* Oversee cycle counts, stock takes and inventory reconciliations

* Improve warehouse layouts, stock locations and storage processes

* Coordinate UK, European and international shipments

* Work with freight forwarders, customs agents and courier partners

* Oversee fulfilment across online marketplaces, B2B and European customers

* Monitor courier, warehouse and shipment performance

* Maintain operational procedures, training guides and warehouse documentation

* Identify and implement continuous improvements across the operation

* Ensure health and safety procedures and company policies are followed

Warehouse & Logistics Operations Manager - Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will ideally have:

* Previous experience as a Warehouse Manager, Logistics Manager or similar

* Forklift Truck (FLT) experience (ideally counterbalance and stacker)

* Experience leading a warehouse or fulfilment team

* Strong inventory management and stock-control knowledge

* Experience using warehouse management, stock-control or ERP systems

* Experience coordinating international shipments and shipping documentation

* Good knowledge of freight, courier and customs processes

* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

* Excellent attention to detail

* Confidence using Microsoft Excel

* A hands-on and practical approach to management

* Experience with online marketplace fulfilment, consumer goods, serial-controlled stock or European logistics would be advantageous.

* Salary up to £40,000 per annum (DOE)
