Quantum Scholars are seeking qualified teachers and experienced SEND tutors to provide 1:1 tuition support within a secondary school setting in Norwich.
This opportunity is based within an Outstanding-rated secondary school, supporting a small cohort of approximately 6 secondary and sixth form students who require personalised provision due to a range of SEND and medical needs.
All tuition is delivered within the school environment, therefore applicants should be based locally to Norwich or within a commutable distance.
You must have the right to work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available.
The Role
Deliver 1:1 SEND tuition and intervention support within the school
Support secondary and sixth form students with additional needs
Provide tailored academic and pastoral support
Work closely with school staff and SEND teams
Flexible opportunities available depending on student allocationThis provision is expected to continue throughout the remainder of the academic year, with a strong likelihood of extending into September 2026 and beyond.
Requirements
QTS / QTLS or strong SEND tutoring experience
Experience supporting secondary-aged learners with SEND and/or medical needs
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Strong safeguarding understanding
Ability to work effectively within a school environment
