Are you looking to get out of the classroom and gain more control over your schedule? Then tutoring might be for you!
I'm looking for tutors to start after the October half term to support pupils who aren't in full-time education and need a bit of extra help to get back on track. These are 1:1 Tuition Sessions.
The successful tutor will be patient, empathetic and be able to create and deliver learning plans on a 1:1 basis. The aim is to provide the student with structure and to continue their educational development to help them return to an educational setting. You will monitor each student's progression through submitting weekly reports.
Sessions will run between 9am and 4pm, with the opportunity for you to pick up as many or as little hours as you require, whether it be one hour or thirty, and everything in between! Support is ongoing.
Students range in age from EYFS to 16+.
We've got work available across Oldham.
We have many different roles available including:
GCSE Tutor
Mentor
ESOL/EAL Tutor
Primary / EYFS Tutor
Intervention Tutor
SEN Tutor
Play Therapist
What you'll need to get started:
Right to work in the UK.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
Overseas Police Check (if applicable).
At least two professional references.
2 years' experience as a teacher or tutor
QTS or PGCE
Experience working/teaching children with SEN.
We are a Teaching Agency, that strives to make a positive impact in young people's lives by supporting their development and education. Our Children's Education Team work with local authorities to support vulnerable pupils currently outside of mainstream education.
