My client is seeking a Temporary Financial Accountant to cover sickness during a busy period. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who can quickly adapt and add value from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare monthly financial and management accounts and financial reports
* Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
* Support month-end and year-end close processes
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
* Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies
* Liaise with auditors and internal stakeholders as required
Requirements:
* Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
* Proven experience in a financial accounting role
* Strong Excel and financial reporting skills
* Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
* Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
