Title: Technical Sales Manager - Personal Care
Location: Remote, occasional requirement on site in West Midlands
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (dependent upon experience) + benefits
Term: Permanent
SRG is partnering with a leading personal care ingredient distributor in the West Midlands, who offer a wide range of innovative raw materials to manufacturers and brands in the UK personal care market. Adopting a value-based sales approach, you will travel extensively across the UK, regularly meeting customers to continually build, develop and grow customer relationships across personal care innovators, brands and manufacturers.
The role will be 50% account management, 30% business development and 20% supplier management, supported by significant marketing activities.

Role / Description
Growing existing customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and ultimately look to increase account spend
Identifying, contacting and developing new business using a variety of methods
Promoting the company's product portfolio of innovative, sustainable active ingredients
Growing market presence across the UK personal care industry
Travelling approximately 1/3 of your time across the UK to visit customer sites
Generating leads to identify new potential customers across the UK
Actively recording progress on CRM software integrated with product fulfilment
Keeping abreast of product development & trends in the personal care industry.
Requirements
Direct experience in consultative and technical sales of personal care raw materials
Degree-level qualified (or equivalent) in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science or equivalent
Experience with delivering technical presentations on ingredients used in personal care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Willing, and excited, to travel 1/3 of your time across the whole of the UK
Full, clean UK driving licence
