Introduction
We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to drive business growth across the UK & Ireland within the pharmaceutical tablet tooling and packaging sector.
This is a high-autonomy role within a specialist international manufacturing organisation. You will take ownership of the territory, developing new business and managing key customer relationships.
Objectives of the Technical Sales Manager:
* Grow sales across UK & Ireland markets
* Develop new and existing customer accounts
* Build long-term client partnerships
* Achieve:
* €300,000 (Year 1)
* €1,000,000 annually thereafter
Responsibilities of the Technical Sales Manager:
* Develop and execute sales plans
* Identify and win new business opportunities
* Manage and grow existing accounts
* Build strong client relationships
* Provide product support and training where needed
* Track pipeline and report on activity
* Work with internal teams on proposals
* Manage own schedule, travel, and sales approach independently
Requirements of the Technical Sales Manager:
* B2B sales experience in technical/engineering sector
* Background in pharmaceutical tooling or packaging (preferred)
* Experience with companies such as IHolland, Prodieco, Bosch Packaging, Syntegon
* Technical education (Engineer/Technician) preferred
* Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
* Self-motivated and able to work independently
