β° Shifts: 8:00am β 10:00pm + sleep-in ποΈ
π Includes evenings & weekends
π· Pay: Β£14.50 per hour (unqualified) / Β£15.00 per hour (qualified)

Aura Education is recruiting for a Team Leader to work within a childrenβs residential care home, supporting young people to thrive π±
This is a hands-on leadership role where youβll lead shifts, support staff, and create a safe, stable and nurturing environment where young people can develop and reach their full potential π
π Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage staff during shifts to ensure smooth day-to-day running of the home π‘
Support and mentor residential care staff on duty π₯
Build positive relationships with young people and support their individual needs π€
Act as a Key Worker, supporting care and placement plans π
Plan, risk assess and supervise activities π―
Maintain accurate records and reports π
Ensure safeguarding procedures and care standards are followed π‘οΈ
Participate in an on-call rota βοΈ

Requirements
Experience working with children or young people in residential care πΆ
Strong leadership and communication skills π¬
Ability to manage a shift and support a team effectively π
Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young Peopleβs Residential Care (or equivalent) desirable π
(or willingness to complete within 2 years)
