The Role in Birmingham
As a Teaching Assistant - Personal Care Support, you will combine hands-on personal care with classroom-based learning support. Your work will directly contribute to pupils' wellbeing, independence and overall development in a nurturing school environment.
Key Responsibilities
Delivering personal care support with dignity, sensitivity and professionalism
Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small group settings
Assisting with learning activities to encourage engagement and progress
What We're Looking For
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant - Personal Care Support or in a personal care support role
Proven experience providing personal care in a school, SEN or care setting
A valid DBS registered on the Child and Adult Workforce, or willingness to obtain one
Based in, or able to commute to, West Birmingham
