Talent Acquisition Specialist

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead and deliver end-to-end recruitment across the business. The successful candidate will design recruitment strategies, manage talent pipelines, support workforce planning initiatives and enhance the overall candidate and hiring manager experience. This is a strategic, proactive and solutions-focused role requiring strong stakeholder management and in-depth recruitment expertise.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing through to offer negotiation and onboarding.

· Partner with hiring managers to develop job briefs, create tailored attraction strategies and advise on market insights.

· Drive proactive sourcing strategies to build pipelines for future vacancies.

· Screen candidates, conduct competency-based interviews, and support managers in selection and assessment.

· Develop recruitment processes that improve efficiency, reduce time-to-hire and strengthen quality of hire.

· Produce recruitment metrics, talent pipeline reports and workforce planning insights.

· Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.

· Lead on employer branding initiatives, job advert creation and candidate experience improvements.

· Build relationships with external partners, agencies and stakeholders to widen talent pools.

· Support and develop onboarding processes to ensure smooth integration of new starters.

· Identify recruitment challenges and propose strategic solutions.

· Support early careers, succession planning and emerging talent programmes.

Skills & Experience Required

· Proven in-house recruitment experience at specialist level.

· Strong stakeholder engagement across all levels of a business.

· Experience designing and delivering recruitment strategies.

· Skilled in screening, interviewing, selection and negotiation.

· Ability to analyse data, produce insights and track recruitment KPIs.

· Excellent understanding of employment legislation and recruitment compliance.

· Highly organised with strong communication and relationship-building skills.

· Experience improving processes and implementing new recruitment initiatives.
