Looking for a full-time Support Worker role in children’s residential care?
1Four1 Recruitment is hiring experienced Level 3 Residential Support Workers for permanent positions in the Leatherhead area.
You will be working within children’s residential homes, supporting young people with day-to-day care, routines and emotional support.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide day-to-day care and emotional support to children and young people
• Support routines, activities and daily structure
• Build positive and respectful relationships
• Assist with personal care where required
• Follow care plans, behaviour plans and risk assessments
• Ensure safeguarding and safety at all times
• Administer medication and first aid where required
• Maintain accurate records including daily logs and reports
• Support the home environment with general household tasks
• Work as part of a team within the residential setting
Requirements
• Experience as a Support Worker, Residential Support Worker or Care Assistant
• Experience within children’s residential care / children’s homes
• Level 3 qualification in Children & Young People (or equivalent) – essential
• Understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality
• Calm, patient and reliable approach
• Able to work full-time shifts including days, nights and sleep-ins
• Driving licence preferred
• Enhanced DBS required (including overseas police clearance where applicable)
• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship
