Our client is an established and growing fresh produce business, looking for a Commercial Operations / Supply Chain Coordinator to support the smooth flow of products from suppliers and farms through to customers.
Working closely with Commercial, Supply Chain, Procurement, Production and Logistics teams, you will be responsible for coordinating demand, stock, customer orders, supplier activity and logistics, ensuring high service levels while minimising waste and operational risk.

Key Responsibilities
Demand & Supply Planning: Support sales forecasting and demand planning, ensuring accurate information is maintained within business systems.
Stock Management: Monitor stock levels across farms and production sites, identify shortages and excess stock, investigate discrepancies and ensure stock availability meets customer requirements.
Customer & Order Management: Manage daily and weekly customer orders, maintain accurate SKU and product information and communicate availability, shortages and delivery risks.
Supplier Coordination: Liaise with suppliers regarding availability, lead times and delivery schedules, while monitoring supplier performance, quality and service levels.
Procurement: Support purchase order creation, tracking and reporting, ensuring purchasing activity aligns with operational requirements.
Production Coordination: Communicate production plans to packhouses and factories, following up on execution and highlighting any potential risks to supply.
Logistics Coordination: Schedule inbound and outbound deliveries, book transport slots and liaise with hauliers, 3PL providers and warehouse teams.
Performance & Reporting: Track operational performance, stock holding, customer service and OTIF, providing accurate information to relevant stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste and improve operational efficiency across the supply chain.
What You’ll Bring
Industry Experience: Ideally 2+ years' experience within Fresh Produce, FMCG, Food, Retail or Supply Chain environments.
Supply Chain Knowledge: Experience working across an end-to-end supply chain, ideally with exposure to stock, procurement, logistics and customer supply.
Commercial Awareness: A commercially minded approach with an understanding of customer requirements, service levels, stock and operational costs.
Analytical Mindset: Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyse data, identify risks and make informed decisions.
Communication: Excellent communication skills with the confidence to liaise effectively with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Systems: Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Organisation: Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
Problem Solving: A proactive approach to resolving operational issues and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
Driving Licence: Full UK/EU driving licence required.
