Prospero Teaching are currently seeking recent speech and language graduates to join a large SEN school in the Cheadle area. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain experience within a school setting.
The school is located in the Cheadle Hulme area and supports pupils aged between 4-19, with complex needs.
The Role:
Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups, encouraging engagement and development
Communicating regularly with class teachers and SLT to monitor progress
Assisting in preparation of engaging learning resourcesExperience, Training & Qualifications:
Recent degree in Speech and Language Therapy
Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (Desired but training can be provided)
Previous experience supporting SEN, in placementsTo be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional referencesOther
