Specialist SEND Tutor Required - Liverpool
Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting a dedicated and experienced SEND Tutor to provide personalised 1:1 tuition to children and young people across Liverpool.
The successful candidate will support learners with additional needs, helping them overcome barriers to education, develop confidence and make meaningful academic progress.
Experience, Training and Qualifications:
QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
Experience supporting pupils with SEND and complex learning needs
Previous experience working with SEMH or disengaged learners
Ability to plan and deliver individualised learning programmes
Strong behaviour management and engagement strategies
A patient, nurturing and adaptable teaching approach
To be eligible for this role, applicants must:
Hold the right to work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child workforce DBS or be willing to obtain one
Provide satisfactory professional references
Have relevant teaching or tutoring experience
