Prospero Teaching are looking for a dedicated SEND Tutor to provide personalised 1:1 tuition to a young learner in the Wirral area.
This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced educator who can build a positive relationship with the learner, adapt sessions around their individual needs and help them make meaningful academic progress.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging 1:1 tuition tailored to the learner
Plan and adapt lessons according to individual needs
Support academic progress and confidence
Encourage positive engagement with learning
Use a flexible and nurturing approach
Monitor progress and provide feedback
Requirements
Experience working with children or young people
Previous experience supporting learners with SEND
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patient, adaptable and encouraging approach
Teaching qualification or relevant tutoring experience desirable
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
Right to Work in the UK
Two professional child-related references
